Sleep, Weight, and connected devices

Additional devices that measure sleep and weight can help you with training. It’s vital that you get enough sleep and that you’re not dropping weight too quickly.

If you look at the training tips in the app, you will see that we supply hints on getting enough sleep, and the app will pop up hints and may alter your training if you have connected sleep monitoring devices and are not sleeping enough.

One of the things that you can do to help your training is to connect devices that monitor your health. Connecting HealthKit enabled devices such as scales to track your weight or devices to watch your sleep.

YayTrain Runners Edition uses information collected from these devices to monitor and adjust your training schedule where it is available so you don’t overtrain or we look at particular issues that might be a factor.

Even if you are doing workout independent of the YayTrain Runners Edition app, we can pick that information up so it can be analysed as part of your training.
